Adopt A Retired Easter Bunny

This year, consider adopting a Retired Easter Bunny from House Rabbit Network! Many of our bunnies were dumped in shelters, and eventually came to us, because they were inappropriately purchased for young children. Often, they were bought on impulse by parents who had no idea of the care and commitment these bunnies would require! After the novelty has worn off, these bunnies receive inadequate care and attention, and then, sadly, end up at the shelters. Worse, some people set rabbits free outside to suffer the fate of being killed by dogs, cats, hawks, and cars, or to slowly starve to death. (Domestic bunnies do not have the survival skills of their wild brethren.)

Bunnies can make excellent pets for a quiet, adult household, or one where the children are closely supervised and the parents are the primary caregivers. We are asking people to make adoption an option, and rather than purchase from a breeder or a pet store, to adopt a Retired Easter Bunny from House Rabbit Network, and give our former Easter Bunnies the “happily ever after” that they deserve!

Can you help spread the word? Print out and hang up our flyers!
